Biography


Vincent Niclo was born in Paris in a music loving family. His mother would listen to opera when she was pregnant, and his father opened his mind to music of every kind


The decisive moment for Vincent came when he heard Luciano Pavarotti singing ‘Nessun Dorma’ on the radio as a teenager, the moment that he realised that singing was the path he also wished to follow.

After years of training with Paris Opera teacher, during which he supported himself by earning money on the fashion catwalk, Vincent began his singing career with a succession of successful roles in musicals.

His lucky break came when he sang for Céline Dion who immediately engaged him for a series of high-profile shows, saying of the rising French star :

“You are different…you go straight to my heart”.

So far, Vincent has released six studio albums, which together have sold ten times platinum.

His repertoire ranges from classic opera themes, to the biggest pop songs as well as his own interpretation of other musical genres such as tango.

Vincent has performed with some of the biggest superstars in the world who have all been seduced by his incredible talent: Placido Domingo, Il Divo, Charles Aznavour, Michael Bublé, Céline Dion, Sarah Brightman, Michel Legrand to name just a few.

“Singing is my whole life” says Vincent.

“It’s who I am, it’s how I’m happy and I couldn’t imagine ever doing anything else”.
